Oakland in Marshall, May 22 The remains of the Hon. R. E. Benton were interred in the Oakland cemetery this afternoon. A large number of friends and neighbors followed the remains of this most highly respected citizen to their last resting place. Rev. Cooper, of Wapello, delivered a very sincere and interesting sermon, which the deceased was justly entitled to.
