March 20- Mrs. Sophie Hook-Tustison was born in Jefferson township, Louisa county, Iowa, August 6, 1859 and died in Wapello, Iowa, March 18, 1905, aged 45 years, 7 months and 2 days. Mrs. Tustison has lived in Wapello a great part of her life. She was very much beloved by all who knew her. She leaves three children to mourn the loss of a true and faithful mother; Frank, Charlie and Emily. She belonged to two orders in Wapello, the Eastern Star and Rebekah.

About two years ago she moved to Iowa City for the purpose of giving her children a good education. After which she moved to Wapello, where she has been confined to her bed the most of the time. Funerals services were held from the home March 20, 1905, at 10 o'clock a. m., conducted by the Rev. W. H Cooper. Interment in the Wapello cemetery.
