Orono, July 11 - At 4 o'clock Sunday morning, July 10, 1904, the spirit of the venerable Mrs. Pomeroy was released from its earthly tenement. She had lived on this earth for more than four score years. Her husband has been dead many years. She was the mother of a large family of children some of whom preceded her in death. Funeral services this afternoon with interment in Brockway cemetery.
