Mrs. Henry Peters died very suddenly at the home on Fourth street Tuesday evening, June 7, of heart trouble. She was taken sick last September and had not been well since. About two weeks ago she was taken worse and her mother came from Chicago to be with her. She was born in Germany forty years ago, her maiden name being Annie Rannau. She was married to Henry Peters at Meldorf, Germany, October 17, 1881, and to them were born five children, two of whom are living. The living are Herman and Henry, aged about seventeen and fourteen. One boy and two girls preceded their mother to the spirit world. She was a member of the German Reformed church, was a good woman, devoted to her home and family. Her husband and sons and her mother have sympathy of all. Funeral at the home at 2:00 Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. Staudt.
