Wapello, March 16 Samuel Clifton died very suddenly at his home in Burlington Sunday, March 13, 1904, aged almost eighty-five years. The body was brought to the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. W Hayden, in Wapello, where the funeral services occurred Tuesday, conducted by Rev. W. H. Cooper and interment in Wapello cemetery.
