Clinton Marshall, one of the pioneers of Louisa county, died at his home in Virginia Grove last week. He was a son of the late Joshua Marshall, who came here from Virginia in a very early early day and secured a fine body of land in the Grove. It was from him and other settlers from Virginia that the fine body of timber, this side of Morning Sun received the name of "Virginia Grove." Clinton Marshal was never married, we believe.
