A telegram from Mt. Pleasant received at 1 o'clock this afternoon announces the death of George Parkin, an inmate of the hospital. It will be noted elsewhere in this paper that it was found necessary to return him to the hospital on account of the recurrence of his disease in a more violent form. The case of Mr. Parkin has been a sad one, because that deadest of all diseases, insanity, had fastened itself on him the past few years. We never met a man we thought to be more charitable, more upright and more kind than he. His death came as quite a shock to his friends. Besides his wife he leaves a family of four daughters- Mesdames Thoa Reaney of Wellman, Will Newell of Colorado, C.O. Anderson and Charles Duncan of this place, and two sons - George of New Boston and John of Minnesota. Arrangements have been made for Undertaker Harris to go for the body this evening. The interment will probably not take place until Saturday.
