Mrs. Catherine Hancher of Cotter died Sunday morning last. She was an old lady, in her 76th year; was born in Harrison county, Ohio. In 1839, December 24, she was married to Robert Hancher. Mr Hancher is in poor health and was unable to attend the burial. Rev. J. W. Carson conducted the service. Mrs. Hancher has been a member of the M. E. church since she was seventeen years of age. Seven children were born to her, six of whom still live to mourn her.
