Mrs. Mollie Newton died at her home northeast of Cone, Saturday morning, from the effects of consumption. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Nelson, born December 27, 1871, married to Thompson Newton, March 31, 1893, and died August 1, 1896. The funeral was at the reformed church at cone, conducted by Rev. D. H. Fouse. Burial in Cone cemetery. the funeral was very largely attended, the church being filled to its utmost capacity with sorrowing friends and relatives.
