Grandview, March 9 -This community was shocked Saturday afternoon by the news that Ira Benson was drowned in the Mississippi River while hunting. Mr. Benson was a former Grandview boy and had a host of friends and relative at this place. A persistent search resulted in finding the body about 10 o'clock Sunday morning very close to the place where it went down. Funeral services were held at the island home and the remains were brought to Grandview for interment. The bereaved wife and two fatherless children have our heartfelt sympathies.
