Thomas Wadleigh, who has been lying ill at home of his mother, Mrs. J. N. Edwards, died Friday morning, Dec. 27. He was born at Wilton in 1859 and had lived during a considerable portion of his life in this vicinity. He was injured by a horse in Kansas City about two years ago, since which time his health had gradually failed. A sorrowing wife and mother are left to mourn his loss, his only sister having died three years ago. The funeral was held at the M. E. church Sunday afternoon, Rev. M. J. Pusey, officiating, assisted by Rev. S. R. Drake. Interment at Columbus City.
