Mt. Hope, August 15- Grandfather Solomon Simons died at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Henry Brimmer, on Sunday morning, August 6, at 10:30 o'clock. He died of old age, being 96 years of age, lacking three days. He was born August 0, 1797, at Georgetown, Sussex county, Delaware. His illness was of but two weeks duration and during that time he bore his trials with Christian grace and fortitude and without a murmur.
