Cairo, June 27- The death of Mrs. Nellis occurred Sunday afternoon after an illness of two weeks. The deceased was born in Canada August 5, 1829, and died June 25, 1893. Mrs. Nellis possessed a generous, kindly nature and her life in our midst has always been characterized by good deeds to friends and neighbors and faithfulness and love in the home. Her removal from the scenes of earth will be long mourned by sorrowing husband and son and those who knew so well her goodness and purity of ? The funeral services were held in the church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. LeCornu.
