Morning Sun, June 12- As the four o'clock train on the Central was just this side of Marsh last Sunday morning, the body of a man terrible mangled was discovered on the track. On investigation is was found to be Charley Stuart, a young man in the employ of Mel Elliot. He had been killed by the preceding train which comes about three o'clock and had been undiscovered in the darkness. The funeral was held Monday morning at eight o'clock, the interment taking place in the cemetery at this place. His mother, brother and three sisters live here. The shock was too much for his mother who had just recovered from a severe illness and she is again very low. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sadness (2nd & third story below)

Charlie, youngest son of Mrs. Ann Stewart of this place, met with a shocking death near Marsh Sunday. He was run over by a special train on the I. C. and was horribly mangled. The interment took place Monday.

3nd article Virginia Grove. June 13- Charlie Steward, a very estimable young man and former resident of this neighborhood , was run over by a train on the C. I. railroad near Marsh on Sunday morning. His mangled remains were buried in the cemetery at Morning Sun Monday, in the presence of a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives.
