Nora B. Utterbach was born near Ainsworth January 3, 1873. She grew up in that vicinity. In 1892 she was married to H. A. Schmidt. For a short while after her marriage they made their home in Oskaloosa. In December last they moved to Columbus Junction, where she died, Tuesday, May 9. She leaves one infant daughter, less than two weeks old. Besides her husband she leaves father, mother, and other relatives to mourn her loss. She had been a member of the methodist church since fourteen years of age. The remains were taken to Ainsworth for interment, Wednesday. Short services were held at the residence conducted by Rev. Williams. Funeral at Ainsworth was conducted by Rev. Pugh, of Winfield. Mr. Schmidt has the sympathy of all. He will remain in Columbus Junction. Mrs. Utterbach the grandmother of the child will care for it.
