Oakville, Jan 30-Died, Thursday, Jan 26, 1893, Dora Baxter, wife of Ulysses Baxter. She was the daughter of George Mellinger, of this place, and was born April 9, 1866. She leaves four children and a sorrowing husband to mourn her loss, besides father, mother, brothers and sisters. The funeral took place from the Palo Alto church, Saturday, January 28, conducted by Rev. Lo? from a text selected by the deceased before her death. She knew there was no hope of recovery and she met death without the least fear; in fact, seemed to welcome it as though it were a pleasant journey she was about to start upon.
