August 10- We were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Joseph Conley, formerly section boss at this place, which occurred at Cedar Rapids, Tuesday. He was working in the yards at that place and was overcome by heat. His funeral occurs to-morrow. He was an honest, respected citizen and well liked by all who knew him.
