OBITUARY.

Victor Hugo Rike, youngest son of E. S. and Emma Rike, was born in Washington Heights, Illinois, December 8, 1890, and died at the home of his grandparents, Rev. J. C. Beade and wife in Columbus Junction, Iowa, October 28, 1891, being aged ten months and eleven days. He was left an orphan by the death of his mother in infancy and since that time has been cared for by his now bereaved grandparents. Rev. Beade accompanied the remains to Washington Heights, Thursday night, where they were met by E. S. Rike, father of deceased and interment tool place. Another flower too fair for gardens of earth has been transplanted by the Divine hand into fields of celestial glory. The bereaved have the deepest sympathy of many friends.
