Lettsville. - Jan. 8 - Mrs. Dr. Thompson's funeral occurred on the 4th. It was preached by Rev. Dr. Johnson and was largely attended. Mrs. Thompson was a model Christian woman and in her last hours gave testimony to the fact of her confidence in God whom she so faithfully trusted while with us here. Her neighbors and friends mourn her loss, but she passed off so quietly and peacefully that it seems she has just gone off on a journey.
