Mrs. Polly Thomson Rinely widow of the late Peter Rinely, died at her home in Union township, Sunday morning, March 18, after a brief illness. Disease-Lung fever. Deceased's early years were spent in Pike county, Ohio, where she was united in marriage to her husband who so long pursued the journey of life with her, and with other friends removed to Iowa in the fall of '48. They resided til the following spring near the present sith of Grandview when they removed to the farm where they have resided continuously since. She was highly respected for her many sterling qualities. She was 75 years of age. She leaves two daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral occurred Monday. Interiment at the Foster cemetery.
