Dies Following Long Illness

Mrs. Bert Mulhern, 70, former resident here, died at her home in Columbus Junction at 1:30 a.m.Tuesday, following a long illness.

She was the former Lydia Hull, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hull and was born November 9, 1880 near Morning Sun. She was married to Al Blair whose death occurred in 1917. In November 1928 she was married to Bert Mulhern and since that time she has lived in Columbus Junction.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Merle of Anamosa and one grandchild. One son is dead.

Funeral services were held in Columbus Junction and burial was made in Elmwood cemetery in Morning Sun.
