Conesville – Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Brown, 58, died Friday evening, March 7, 1997, at her residence, 1169 255th St.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Dan Schoepf of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mike Kruse, Ben West, Harry Luttrull, Randy Luttrull, Jerry Bedding, and Calvin Hurlbut. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown was born July 25, 1938, in Muscatine, a daughter of Willis and Ellen E. Moore Garrison.

She was a life resident of the area.

She married Eddie Duane Brown on Dec. 4, 1954, in Iowa City.

She enjoyed the out of doors, especially fishing.

She loved spending time with her family, and as an antique dealer, enjoyed going to flea markets.

Survivors include one son, Kelvin Brown of Conesville; one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Twanna) Bell of Columbus Junction seven grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, five brothers, William Phillips of West Liberty, Richard L. Garrison of Wilton, Leo Garrison, Jr of Fredonia, and Tony A. Garrison of Wapello; six sisters, Juanita West of Muscatine, Rozita Bergen of Denmark, JoAnn Luttrull of Letts, Leola Garner of Columbus Junction, and Charlene Cozad and Roberta McCormick, both of Mucatine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1988, one son, Billy, one sister, Mary McGourty, and one brother Frank Garrison.
