The funeral of Jas. G. Small occurred on Sunday last, at 2 p.m. Rev. U. B. Smith officiating clergyman. Mr. Smith has been a resident of our vicinity for full thirty years. He was a native of Maine, born in Aug. 1807 and hence was past 78 years of age. “The old house at home” is now desolate and many who attended the funeral obsequies were reminded of the fleetness of time.
