From the Republican, Wapello, IA of Dec 9, 1915:

Nancy J. Patton Frazier was born in Johnson County, Ind. Oct. 23, 1840. She was the daughter of Huston and Esther Israel Patton, and at the age of two moved with her parents to Louisa Co., Iowa. She was married to Elliott Frazier May 12, 1870, and with her husband came to Morning Sun, where she lived until her death which came Dec 6th, 1915. Mrs. Frazier united with the Baptist church at Louisa Center when quite young still holding her membership until her death. She leaves to mourn her demise, her husband, two daughters, Miss Jessie and Mrs. Tressa Whitham of Morning Sun and two sons, Frank of Kirkwood, Ill. and Charles of Farmington, Ill. Also three grandsons besides other relatives. Interment was made in Elmwood Cemetery. Funeral services were held in her home on Dec 8, 1915.
