Azel Freeman, one of the substantial farmers of Scott township died at his home northeast of town Tuesday afternoon. He was born near Uniontown, Pennsylvania, October 4, 1834 and was married October 4, 1864 to Frances Nixon. His two daughters, Julia and Eva Freeman and Mrs. Lizzie Miller with his wife, survive him. The funeral services will take place Thursday at 2:30 from the home conducted by Rev. Osborn of the M. E. Church.
