Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Mincher, 68, who died Tuesday night at her home in Denver, Colo., were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Dudgeon Funeral home in Wapello, conducted by the Rev. Clifton Keagy of the Methodist church. Mrs. Mincher, the former Minnie Owens, was born in Louisa county, Feb. 11, 1879, and spent her early girlhood in the vicinity of Morning Sun. She married Walter Mincher of Wapello and their home was in Wapello and Burlington, moving from the later city several years ago. Her husband preceded her in death, and surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack Feeley, a son Alvaro, both of Denver, Colo., two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Troutman, Oklahoma, and Mrs. J. M. Grim of Morning Sun; also two brothers, Laird Owens, Des Moines county sheriff, and Frank Owens of California. Burial was in the Wapello cemetery.
