Eva Faustine Hoy

Eva Faustine Hoy, 81, of 904 South Sunny Lane, died at 3 p.m. in Applegate Inn.

She was born Oct. 24, 1901, at Wapello, Iowa, the daughter of Lewis Cass Mincher
and Eva Bailey, and was reared and educated in Monmouth.

She married Fred Arthur Hoy on June 3, 1922, at Galesburg. He died May 30, 1963.

Mrs. Hoy was a homemaker and a member of the Heritage United Presbyterian Church,
Monmouth, where she was a teacher of the Whatsoever Class. Before that she was an
active member of the Ninth Avenue Presbyterian Church, and did volunteer work at
the Monmouth Nursing Home a number of years.

Survivors include one son, Fred C. Hoy, Monmouth; one daughter, Mrs. Sam (Dolores)
Clark, Monmouth; one sister, Margaret Neill, Monmouth; seven grandchildren, six
great-grandchildren, and one niece. Her parents and husband died earlier.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, at Monmouth Cemetery, with the
Rev. Chester Chandler of Heritage Church officiating.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday, Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday
until the time of service at Turnbull Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Moody Bible Institute.
