FRED WAGNER, 70, DIES IN JUNCTION
FORMER BUSINESS MAN SUCCUMBS AFTER SHORT ILLNESS – FUNERAL THURS.
COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Sept.-1 – Fred Wagner, 70, died this morning at 12:30 following an illness of several days at his home here. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at the Fredonia Methodist church in charge of Rev. V. A. Bloomquist. Burial will be in the Cedar Bethel church northeast of here.
Mr. Wagner was born in this vicinity May 13, 1866, and had spent his entire life here. He was in the grocery business here for a period of years.
The survivors are his widow who was formerly Miss Lilly McNamer of Columbus Junction, a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Barnard, a grandson, Howard Barnard, and a sister, Mrs. Noah Gage of Letts.The Washington Democrat – Independent
