Thursday, July 26, 1984Friday rites for C. Spates
Services for Charles D. Spates, 68, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in the Letts Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or the Heart Fund.
Spates died Tuesday morning at University Hospitals in Iowa City where he had been a patient over two weeks.
