Howard Johnston GREENE of Columbus Junction, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 1968 at the Mt. Pleasant hospital.

A son of David C. and Dora BEACH GREENE, he was born February 22, 1894.

Howard GREENE married Alice CHOWN, January 2, 1917 at Muscatine.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs Alice GREENE; two sons, Waren (Bill) GREENE, Columbus Junction and Robert GREENE, Ainsworth; two daughters, Mrs. Ed (Maxine) GOBLE of Columbus Junction, and Mrs. Kenneth (Karen) KOONTZ, Granada Hills, California; one brother, Noah (Pete) GREENE; two sisters, Mrs J. Sebe JONES, Muscatine, and Mrs. John G. JONES. Cotter; also 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at rhe Stacy Lewis Funeral Home. Rev. Earl JOSTEN officiated.

Music was by Donna Belle Hughes and Paul Duncan.

Caskets bearers were H. Lee Huston, J. E. Hensen, Clement Clement Heitmeir, William Leffler, Virgil G.Johnson and Preston Edmonson.

Burial was in Columbus City Cemetery.
