MRS. HARRIETT DURYEA, 83, FOUND DEAD IN BED

Morning Sun (IA), June 23. -- Mrs. Harriet Duryea was found dead in her bed Thursday morning at her home here. This came as a shock to her many friends here, although they knew she had been in failing health for some time.

Mrs. Duryea was born in Ohio eighty-three years ago and was the mother of ten children, seven of whom survive, five boys and two girls. Morning Sun has been her home for the past forty years with the exception of two or three years spent with children in the west. The husband, Thos. Duryea, preceded her in death nine years ago.

Beside the seven children she leaves twenty-three grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from the home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial in Elmwood cemetery.
