Charles Robert “Bobby” ColbertCharles Robert “Bobby” Colbert, Sr., of Lafayette, Georgia, died Thursday, December 4, 2003. He was 60 years old.
He was a resident of Columbus Junction, Iowa for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Leah; daughters: Dawn Heisdorffer, Keota; Jody Adrian, Keota,; sons: Charles Colbert Jr. of Muscatine; T. Todd Colbert of Flintstone, Georgia; Brett Colbert of Houston, Texas; Jesse Bass of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a sister, Sue Brown of Georgia, and a brother, Danny Colbert of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Bill Bass.
Services were held Saturday, December 6, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home (LaFayette, Georgia) with Reverent Russell Swafford officiating.
Burial was in the Garmany Cemetery in Kensington. Arrangements were handled by Wilson Funeral Home, LaFayette, Georgia.
