Junction Man Taken by Death Christian Whisler Dies at Home of Leo Dircks, Where He Was Employed

Columbus Junction —- Christian Whisler died Wednesday evening at the Home of Leo Dircks, northwest of Columbus Junction of pneumonia. He had been Ill two weeks.

He formerly resided near Grandview but had been working for Mr. Dircks. He as married to Mrs. Anna Weimann, who died six years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Clarence and Ernest Whisler of Muscatine and a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Hendrickson of near Columbus Junction and a stepson, Albert Weimann, of Muscatine.

The funeral services will be held at the Lawrence Hendrickson home at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon and the burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery at Muscatine.
