FORMER MORNING SUN RESIDENT DEAD

Miss Lora Rock has received word that her sister, Mrs. O. E. Sutcliff, Clarksville, [Iowa] died at a Waverly, Iowa hospital on December 29. Mrs. Sutcliff had suffered a heart attack on Christmas day.

Mrs. Sutcliff, the former Mary Rock, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Rock. She was born in Morning Sun [Iowa] and spent her early life here. For several years she taught in the rural schools of Louisa county. After her marriage to O. E. Sutcliff she had lived on a farm near Clarksville [Iowa].

Survivors include her husband, a son, Fred, of Clarksville, [Iowa], and a daughter, Mrs. Edith Burroughs of Allison, {Iowa]. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and the following five sisters: Mrs. Elvira Keck, Hollywood, California, Mrs. Ada Smith, Central City, California, Mrs. Carrie Lambert and Mrs. Emma Liggett, Phoenix, Arizona, and Miss Lora Rock, Morning Sun. Three brothers, Curtis, Howard and Elmer are dead.
