Letts - Harry Gipple, 86, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday at Muscatine General Hospital. The Letts resident was born July 17, 1881 the son of Charles and Effie Jones Gipple. He married Pearl Hildebrant Dec. 21, 1904. Mr. Gipple was a member of the Letts Methodist church, a 50 year Mason, and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl, at home; one daughter, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Crist of Letts; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Eis officiating. Burial will be at the Letts cemetery.
