MENDON, Ill. -- Martha Ann Hansen, 54, of Mendon, Ill., died Sunday morning, July 22, 2007, in Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Ill.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1952, in Carthage, Ill., the daughter of Max Luther and Margaret Johnson Henson.

She had lived in Mendon since 1992. She was employed with Schwan Food Company in Quincy as a distribution worker and had worked at Ursa Fast Stop as a clerk.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Women's Pool League and Libertarian Party.

Survivors include; her companion, John Stockhecke of Mendon; her mother, Margaret Henson of Lake Charles, La.; two daughters, Christa Wiggins and her husband, Mark, of Montrose and Angel Bergheger of Keokuk; a son John Hansen and his wife, Paula, of Keokuk; a brother, Kenneth Henson and his wife, Susie, of Niota, Ill., two sisters, Judy Savage and her husband, Leigh, of Jupiter, Fla., and Elizabeth Marsh and her husband, David, of Lake Charles; an uncle, Virgil Johnson of Jordan, Minn.; 10 grandchildren, and numberous neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services wwill be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in DeJong's Funeral Home, Keokuk with the Rev. Tim Todd officiating.

Burial will follow in Warsaw Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation is today at the funeral home, with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

A memorial has been established.
