Heather L. Dean

Heather L. Dean, age 35, of West Burlington, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at her home. The daughter of Robert and Patricia Duffy Hamann, she was born March 24, 1968 in Burlington. On December 6, 1996, she married Mike Dean; they were later divorced. She was a graduate of the Morning Sun High School and attended A.I.C. in Davenport. She was employed as a branch manager of US Bank in Burlington.

Survivors include her parents, Bob and Patricia Hartmann of Morning Sun; one daughter, Madison Dean, and one son, Kirkland Dean, both at home; a brother, Randall Hamann of Morning Sun; a nephews, Damian Hamann, two uncles, one aunt; cousins; and a special friend, John Gayewski of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and an infant daughter.

There will be no visitation and her body will be cremated.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 21, at the Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun.

A memorial has been established for the benefit of her children’s education.

The Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun is in charge of arrangements.
