Russell “Bud” Henry Speth, 84, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died November 19, 2012 at Colonial Manor, Columbus Junction, IA.

Mr. Speth was born January 15, 1928, in Eldridge, IA, the son of Elmer and Bertha Danielson Speth. He married Marilyn Hoffmann and to this union seven children were born. He later married Judith McGill to which two children were born.

Bud owned and operated a siding and gutter business for many years. He served as a council member for the City of Columbus Junction and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Louisa County Kaaba Shriners. Private burial will be at Memorial Park in Davenport, Iowa.

Bud will be dearly missed by his children: Sue and Gary Steffey, Princeton, IA; Steve and Therese Speth, Bettendorf, IA; Mary and David Mangels, LeClare, IA; Nancy Wright, Burlington, WI; Dan Speth, Vancouver, WA; Greg and Roberta Speth, Salem, WI; Laura and Brent Berberich, Royal, IA; Lisa and Ted Hills, Columbus Junction, IA. Also, brother, Orville and Donna Speth, brother-in-law, Bill Lemberg and sister-in-law, Clara Speth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Harvey, Allen and Don; one sister, Betty Lemberg and one daughter, Linda.
