Funeral Services were held for Arnold L SMITH of Columbus Junction on Thursday, Feb 16, 1995 at the Stacy Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Ia. Arnold died on Monday at the University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.

Arnold L SMITH was born August 1, 1927 at Columbus Jct., Ia to Rex and Yeteva ROBERTSON SMITH. He married Allene MILLER, May 28, 1949 in Wapello, Iowa. Arnold retired from the Columbus Community Schools in 1988 after ten years of service. Arnold was a World War II Air Force veteran. Arnold was a member of the Columbus Junction American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Allene, Columbus Jct, two daughters, Mrs Alan (Carol) BUCK, Drakesville, Iowa; Mrs. Terry (Brenda)PETER, Iowa City, Iowa; two sons, Bruce A SMITH, Coralville and Brian SMITH, Lone Tree, Ia. There are seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents
