Daniel Kallenbarger was born in Muscatine, Iowa, Aug. 25, 1877, and died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Fannie Gast, Saturday, Aug. 13, 1910 after a lingering illness of several weeks. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. G.D. Kallenbarger. He spent the greater part of his life here with his father and sisters.

He was the youngest of seven children, all of whom with, his mother, preceded him in death. His father and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Gast, and Mrs. J.H. Hidlebaugh are left to mourn his departure. He died in the living faith knowing that Christ would come in his own good time to take him home where suffering and sorrow were no more. The funeral was held from the home of his sister, Mrs. F. Gast, Sunday afternoon at 2 o;clock. Interment in the Grandview cemetery, M.G. Hammill conducting the services.
