Allegheny county, Pa., March 22nd,
1828. She reached the age of 74
years, 7 months and 10 days. She
was united in marriage to A. S. Yohe
March the 8th, 1849. This relation
existed for more than 53 years before
it was severed by death. To

In early life she made profession
of her faith in Jesus Christ, and in
her religious life and experience she
seemed not to grow old: Her Christian
life impressed itself upon her
household, and upon the entire circle
of her acquaintances. She carried
religion into her daily living and she
realized that the sentiment which
the Christian often sings is true:
"Religion bears our spirits up,
While we expect that blessed hope,
The bright appearence of the Lord,
And faith stands leaning on his word."
The funeral occured on Tuesday
morning at the Presbyterian church
and was attended by a large assembly
of sorrowing relatives and friends.
Her pastor directed ' the services.
She was laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery.
