Alice J. Snyder, 68, of Cranston, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her home in Cranston.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Lay Pastor Bill Jarrett will officiate. Casketbearers will be Bryan Snyder, Mick Snyder, Andrew Snyder, Satchel Luke, David Snyder and Rusty Harris. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Following the committal services, there will be a time of food and fellowship held at the home of Charles Snyder. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the funeral home from 9:00-11:00 am. Memorials may be directed to Oak Grove Cemetery in memory of Alice. Alice Snyder was born February 10, 1943, in Muscatine Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Leona (Ogle) Snyder. Alice worked at West Liberty Foods for 31 years. Alice enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting humming birds, crocheting, and attending to her flowers.

Alice will be dearly missed by her brother; Charles Snyder and his wife, Bonnie of Letts, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers; Floyd Edward Snyder and Kenneth Lee Snyder.
