MRS. ERWIN DIES

Passed Away Last Night at 12 O'Clock, at Home on Kansas Street.

RELATIVES MOURN THEIR LOSS.

Mrs. Lucy A. Erwin, a Native of Louisa County, Died Last Night After an Illness Lasting Over the Past Two Years - Funeral Announced Later.

From Thursday's Daily.

Mrs. Lucy A. Erwin, a resident of South Muscatine at 1119 Kansas street, died last night at 12 o'clock at her home after an illness lasting over the past two years. Mrs. Erwin had been a patient suffer and although her death was expected, the end came all too soon to the lov_____________________________ kind friends, whose love and effection had been won by the wife and mother who passed away last night.

Mrs. Lucy A. Erwin was born in Louisa county on January 26, 1856, and lived there most all her life. There it was that she was married and three years ago she with her husband, then grown up, moved to this city and resided in South Muscatine and Musserville every since. The deceased was not a church member, but she had been converted and her health prevented her from attneding during the last few years. She is survived by her husband and three children, Mrs. Minnie Billings, of Oklahoma, and Earl and Grace at home. Four sisters and one brother are all living, the parents having passed away some time ago. Her brother and sisters are: Mrs. Gearge Bik___ of Grandview; Mrs. C. Benn, of this city; Mrs. Joseph Westerfelt and Mrs. T.J. Fowler, of the Muscatine Island, and Eierman, of this city.

The funeral arrangements have not been made as yet but will be announced through the columns of the Journal.
