Alice Poggemiller

WAPELLO, Iowa - Services for Alice Poggemiller, 58, of Wapello, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Dudgeon McCulley Funeral Home (Reverend Frederic Harris). Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery, Mediapolis.

Private visitation is today 6 to 7 p.m. and public visitation is 7 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Wapello Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Poggemiller died Friday at Mediapolis Care Center.

She had been owner and manager of Columbus Junction Consignment Shop, Columbus Junction.

She was born June 28, 1923, at New London, to David and Margaret White Marshall.

Alice Marshall married Glenn Poggemiller June 3, 1946 in New London.

Survivors include daughters, Marjorie Collier, Columbus Junction; Glenna Slater and Pamela Elshoff, both of Conesville; and Kathy Poggemiller, at home; sons, William, Muscatine, and Alan, Mediapolis; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; her mother, Margaret White Marshall, Burlington; sisters, Ruth Metzger and Jane Schenk, both of Burlington; and brothers James Marshall, Middletown; Robert Marshall, Wheaton, Illinois; and Edward Marshall, New London.
