COZAD, Betty Ann

Mrs. Donald (Betty Ann) Cozad, 39, died in her sleep of natural causes early this morning (date of death July 16, 1978) at her home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Riley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery Tipton. Visitation will begin this evening.

Betty Ann Cozad was born Feb 11, 1939, in Tipton, the daughter of James and Grace (Wagner) Thurston. A former resident of Tipton, she had lived in Muscatine for the past 25 years. Her marriage to Donald Lee Cozad took place Aug 14, 1954 in Wapello.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Donald Ray of Wilton; two daughters, Brenda and Judy Cozad both of Muscatine, two grandchildren; six brothers, Fred Thurston of Wilton, Robert Thurston of Springdale, Iowa, Earl Thurston of Tipton, Tom Thurston of Key Largo, Fla., Marvin Dean Thurston of Clarence, Iowa and Albert Thurston of Sidney, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bonnie) Moffit of Stanwood, Iowa and Mrs. Herman (Peggy) Foxworth of Gant Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
