Funeral To Be Held TodayWapello, Ia., Dec. 1 — Almond Theodore
Ball, lifelong resident of Louisa
county, passed away at his home in
this city Saturday night, Nov. 29, having
been in failing health for the past
four years. He was born Sept. 10,
1865, and has been one of the prominent
farmers of this vicinity until five
years ago when he and his wife moved
to Wapello. He was married to
Miss Rhoda Drake, Oct. 12, 1887, who
survives with a daughter Mabel E.,
wife of Arthur Stone. One brother,
John Ball, and two half brothers, Alvah
and Wilbur Ball, and a stepmother,
Mrs. Almeda Ball, all of
Wapello, also survive. He was a
member of the Louisa Center Baptist
church with which he united in Oct,
1876. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at
the Presbyterian church conducted by
the Rev. C. E. Burdine. Burial will
be in the Wapello cemetery.
