FORMER LOUISA RESIDENT DEAD

WAPELLO - Mrs. Tirzah Bailey Erbes, 76, a former resident
of Louisa county, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs.
Florence Stebbins at Klamath Falls, Ore., Oct. 19,
according to word received by a brother, W. S. Bailey.
Mrs. Erves was born near Oakville, being a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Bailey, and grew to womanhood in
Louisa county. Her father served as a member of the
Louisa county board of supervisors and conducted a hotel
here for a period of years. She was married to Ed Erbes
while a resident of Wapello. Mr. Erbes preceded his wife
in death. In addition to the daughter, she is survived
by two sons, George Erbes of Red Bluff, Calif., and Lewis
Erbes of San Bruno, Calif., and one brother, W. S. Bailey
of Wapello. Burial was at Berkley, Calif.
