William E. KlindtWilliam Emmet Klindt, 70, of Kingsland, Georgia, passed away January 13, 2011 of heart failure.
He was born June 15, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Ileen Widdows Klindt and John Emmet Klindt.
Bill was a high school graduate and a college of Valparaiso Technical College, Valparaiso, Indiana. He later resided in Davenport, Iowa until his retirement from the Rock Island Arsenal.
He enjoyed camping, boating and his computer, as well as the special relationship he held with his uncle, the late Loren R. Klindt, formerly of Morning Sun, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Klindt and Mark Klindt; his sister, Ms. Barbara Klindt Kent, Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, and nephews.
According to Mr. Klindt’s wishes, the body has been cremated and there will be no funeral service.
The Kingsland, Georgia Crematorium handled all arrangements.
