Patricia Ann Neece, 81, of Weatherford, Texas died Monday, July 19, 2010 in Angel House in Bedford, Texas, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Funeral Services were held on July 22nd at Jayne’s Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, Texas. Burial was at the Davenport Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Dignity House in care of All Star Hospice in Arlington, Texas.

Mrs. Neece was born September 2, 1928 at her family home northwest of Cotter, Iowa, the daughter of Jarrett and Alice (Isom) Peters. She married Gerald C. Neece on April 28, 1951.

She was a registered nurse and graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Davenport, Iowa in 1950. She loved to read, garden, play the slot machines and spend time with her family and friends.

Surviving are one daughter, Pam Bittner; one son, Mike Neece; one son-in-law, Darjon Bittner; one daughter-in-law, Neisha Neece; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Karen Pierce, Sharon Maple and husband, Jerry, and Sadie Gevock and husband, Nick; one brother, Danny Peters and wife, Anita; three sisters-in-law, Janet Peters, Alma Peters and Helen Neece; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson; two brothers; and three brothers-in-law.
