Charles B. Kriegel, 72, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at his home. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brooklyn Community Foundation/Kent Chapel (or BCF/Kent Chapel Rehab Fund), P.O. Box 66, Brooklyn, IA 52211.

Charles was born November 28, 1937, in Brooklyn, IA the son of Balzer Peter and Theodosia Newton Kriegel. He retired from the Federal Railroad Association.

Charles is survived by his wife, Packie of the home, son, Pete and wife, Amber, daughter, Dovelle and Fiancé, Jamie Burnam, son, K.C. and wife, Rachel, grandchildren; Kaelon and Bella, sisters, Neoma Patten and Karen Moore.
